Culture & Customs
Respect for elders, politeness, and consideration for others are highly valued.
When visiting temples, palaces, or traditional neighborhoods, dress modestly and avoid overly revealing clothing.
Weather in September
September is one of the most pleasant months to visit South Korea. There are warm days, cooler evenings, and clear skies.
Pack lightweight layers you can adjust for changing temperatures.
Health
Consult your doctor before traveling to ensure you have any recommended vaccinations or prescriptions.
Currency & Payments
The local currency is the South Korean Won (KRW).
Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in the city, but it’s useful to have some cash for street markets, small shops, or rural areas.
While most trip expenses are covered, we recommend bringing the equivalent of $400–$700 USD for personal purchases, souvenirs, tips, and meals not included in the itinerary.
Notify your bank of your travel dates to prevent card issues as well.
Internet & Connectivity
South Korea is one of the most connected countries in the world, with excellent internet access almost everywhere.
Most hotels and cafes offer free WiFi, and portable WiFi devices or eSIMs are available for reliable access on the go.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers on this experience.
The Jolley Way
We move with good vibes, curiosity, kindness, and adventure. Come as you are, and let’s make beautiful memories together.
